The skirt consits out of 4 differnet fabrics. I bought a lace that looks close enough to Laudnas design and sewed it together. Then I messured where I would have to cut my original overskirt. After that I sewed everything back together. The underskirt has this greyish/violet colour which was perfect for Laudna. I weathered it with a cutter and some sanding paper.
The waistband is this cool fabric I had lying around from my silvester skirt I made in 2020. I thought it would suits Laudnas sytle and used it. There is no rubber band in it. I just pull the whole skirt over my head.
For Laudnas Top I used an old LARP Shirt as a pattern reference. Then I decided to dye it to get a darker violet ombre effect. You can see the difference on the second picture. Its not that visible.
Since I dont have an embroidery machine and didnt want to hand stitch everything. I tried to wirk with applications and with a normal stitch of my sewing machine. It didnt turn out as clean as I wanted it to be, but my friends assured me its perfect that way for Laudna. So I believed them 🙂
The red fabric is some sort of fake wildleather.
This part was the one that took me the longest. I switched from stitching the yellow fabric to fake leather applications and then I did a small stitch with the machine all over it. I am not that happy with the outcame, but I think its fine.
I got the pattern for the 3d files from etsy. You can find the link on the left side. I asked DivaLila Cosplay to print me everything. then she shipped it from switzerland to me. Im still so grateful 🙂
After that I sanded everything down and used filler spray and repeated the process 3 times. After that I painted and sealed everything.
Making all her details for the belt was the most fun for me. At this point it was mostly attaching and cutting off Pate’s head, which hurt me a bit :’D I really love the small pocket, but of course I made it too small, so my phone wont fit in it. Now i use it to store my coscards and Laudnas red yarn.
I had no idea what I should to about Laudnas wig. I didnt want to knot the hairline myself, but I also didn’t want to spend 70€ plus for a premade wig. The I had the idea of just reusing my yennefer wig, which i hated.
The first part consits out of combing and straightening everything. It took me quite some time.
Then I bought white hair wefts and (dont tell anyone!) glued it onto the lace of the hairline. I covered this up with the black strand of hair and styled the girl.
