Part 1 – Jacket

I bought velvet for the jacket, lining and 20 meters of piping for her jacket. I cut out the base for the jacket and the sleeves. Then I started working on her pattern and again it was really hard to find reference pictures of her back view >.<

I used the piping for her pattern and cut of the extra fabric on it. Then I drew the pattern onto the velvet with chalk and glued the beige and red piping over it.

The pattern is made out of 3 different piping, beige, red and black. Almost like the colours from the germany flag :’D I sewed the black garn onto the jacket by hand – to avoid any stains from the glue. Just looks more clean this way.

And yeah guys.. thats how 20 meter of piping looks like ! Will continue here …

I added the Lining and finished the pattern on the back.
I still need to do the pattern on the collar, but I’m in total con crunch right now and hope my hair will cover most of it .__.

Part 2 – Corset

For the corset I used an old Love Live pattern which @divalila_cosplay made for me ages ago. The fabric is a fake leather.

The pattern was almost perfect, but my brain decided that it had to be more screen accurate. So I reconstructed the front part. Then I cut out these stripes which will look like worn leather when I am done weathering it and sewed them to the front part.

Time to add 114 buttons and 8 buckles. I decided I wanted the buttons as flat as possible. So I cut holes in the fabric and secured the buttons with wire on the backside. Then I glued over ever sharp wire and attached some soft fabric in the end. Lets just hope this was a good idea :’D

And here is the finished corset!! I added the boning and then soft wildleather lining and made bias tape out of it. I used 5mm eyelets and attached everything. I had to do a lot of handstitching, because my machine didn’t want to sew 4+ layers of fake leather. Thanks, dear -.-
But we made it in the end!! All materials I used are on the left side.

Part 3 – Blouse

I started with Anna’s Blouse and used an old LARP Shirt as a pattern 🙂
The fabric is very soft and a bit stretchy. I decided to follow my pattern and make Anna some trumpet sleeve. I think they fit very well and her original blouse also looks like it has trumpet sleeves.

I researched hours for the right pattern on the blouse and found some examples on pinterest. It wasn’t exactly like hers, but I changed it a bit.
Funfact: Annas whole costumes was in an exhibition at one point and the blouse from there isn’t the same she wore in the movie !! Like wtf!

For the garn I used DMC in the colour 666. Link is in the material List 🙂

Here we have 100 meter garn and over 60 hours of work!
The sleeves are attached and I added the lace, roses and tassles. I am currently working on the front part.
